Description:

The
Model LGF Gypsum Moisture Meter is excellent for testing gypsum
wallboard as it moves or in stationary sheets
or stacks. This instrument has a stainless steel, flat-plate
electrode and measures the moisture in the gypsum plasterboard 1/4
inch to 3/4 inch thick. The meter has a color-coded direct-reading
dial for fast comparison. It can be used to check the moisture
distribution pattern on the board, along either the length or width.
The flat sensor can be slid along the wallboard surface without
concern for static charge buildup that might damage other sensors.

Model MCPC Laboratory Moisture Computer

Description:

The
Model MCPC Laboratory Moisture Computer uses the principle of
weight-corrected capacitance measured at radio frequencies to
determine a physical
property (dielectric constant) that can be related to moisture
content. This technique is useful in measuring moisture because RF
completely penetrates nonconductive materials and therefore can gauge
moisture throughout the material. The test is instantaneous and
completely nondestructive, and no sample heating or chemicals are
required. The Model MCPC is often used as a safe and inexpensive
replacement for the Karl Fischer chemical titration moisture
analysis. It also replaces heat lamp ‘moisture balance’ type heating
devices.

Description:

Model BSP-901 Moisture Measurement and Control System with the

Description:

Microwave Moisture Analyzer has been designed to be compatible with
the BSP-901 Console to make a complete bale moisture measurement and
display system. The integrated system delivers all of the proven
features of the BSP-901. This bale application system is appropriate
for most baled moisture-content applications, including cotton,
tobacco, and recycled paper, to cite just a few. The microwave

OPTO-PORT Sampling System Analyzer 1Description:

The
Opto-Port is a patented sampling device for use with the SMART II and
BSP-901 Moisture Analyzing Systems. The Opto-Port can perform
moisture measurement of powdered materials within a closed conveying
system such as within pneumatic piping or under a rotary airlock
valve. Installed directly into the conveying system, the stainless
steel Opto-Port is attached to a Moisture Register Products’ NIR
Sensor. Product moisture is read through a quartz window at the end
of the Opto-Port (usually inside a drop pipe). A regulated air blast
instantly removes old product from the measurement window so that a
new reading is taken every 3-5 seconds. No moving parts are necessary
to make the moisture measurement.

The ADP600 Series comprises of six models varying only by the wavelength of measurement, including the highly sensitive ultra-violet region. All ADP600 series Polarimeters are capable of measuring to four decimal places at constant temperatures of temperatures of 20 & 25 °C, set by an integral METHODS system accessed via a high definition touch-screen user interface. ADP400 Series polarimeters not only offer three decimal place measurement, they are also packed full of features normally only expected from high-end instrumentation.
There are two models:

  • the ADP450 with patented XPC technology that uses Peltier to control sample temperature.
  • the ADP430 for use where no temperature control is required or for operation with automatic temperature compensation (ATC) or a waterbath.

A METHODS system allows rapid instrument configuration.  Setting the scale, (optical rotation, sugar, Specific Rotation, concentration, etc.), selecting the reading type (continuous or single-shot) and limit checking against pre-defined product specifications is simple. High security software fulfils the operational requirements of FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11, electronic signatures.  User access is configurable and protected with password entry via keypad or RFID tag.  Audit trails of readings and configuration are easily viewed on the 4” (10cm) full colour display or downloaded via USB or LAN/Ethernet.
Both instruments conform to the minimum requirement of USP/EP/BP for sodium (589nm) measurement.

By definition, a Saccharimeter is a purpose built polarimeter that displays results in the ISS (°Z) scale. Designed with the sugar industry in mind, Bellingham + Stanley offer two Saccharimeters that differ only by the wavelength used for the measurement process.  The ADS420 Saccharimeter uses the traditional Sodium wavelength whilst the new ADS480 Saccharimeter facilitates ‘lead-free measurement’ as it operates in the NIR bandwidth. Both models feature low maintenance LED light source technology not available anywhere else on a fully automatic digital instruments of this type. ADS Saccharimeters are available in a number of supply formats to allow for easy procurement and installation, whether for single sample analysis or as part of an automated Tare House receiving system.
